Call for County Posters

The 12 counties that helped designate the St. Johns River as an American Heritage River are invited to submit their county's success stories as they relate to the river.  The counties of Brevard, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns and Volusia are asked to submit an abstract to be included in a poster session at the 2010 St. Johns River Summit.  Posters should be a standard, tri-fold, foam board, 36" high by 48" wide.

Posters will focus on the following topics:

• Research and monitoring
• Water conservation
• Water quality improvements
• Springs protection
• Developing/enhancing trails and blueways
• Historic and cultural resources
• Securing funding
• Addressing potential sea level rise
